When did you start playing hockey? First year of high school.
How long have you been a member of GLHC? Since I was 14
Why did you start playing amateur hockey? We played a bit at high school but then they made us play netball which i didn’t like. So I decided to join a team, and I saw the club in the newspaper advertising for players, so I joined!
What do you enjoy most about hockey? I enjoy it all, keeping fit, improving skills and playing matches, and socialising at training and matches.
Why did you choose Garstang? I saw the advert in the paper, and being from Garstang made me want to play for the local team.
How do you relax? I like going to the pub with friends, shopping, and going to the gym.
What is your favourite word? I don’t think I have a favourite word, but a phrase I say a lot is, what’s for tea mum?
What are the best aspects of GLHC? I like that you are able to develop as a player, i started off in the junior team and I was useless! But with a lot of help from everyone I think i improved, and started playing matches on Saturday’s which was terrifying at first but then i gained some confidence and competiveness and now play in the 2nd team!
Whats your New Years resolution? To score more goals!
