Big congratulations goes to the fundraising team for raising just over £700 for the club. Debs, Fran and Laura K have been the linchpins in organising the recent 'Race NIght' and 'Seaside Bingo' which took place at the Saddle Inn, Cottam.
Everyone was in fine spirits for both events. Unfortunately Mick Hayes failed to receive the dividends he so mightly deserved after his enthusiastic gambling at the Races and 'Pirate Hunter' was chuffed to bits when he called 'house' to come away with a lovely gift for wife 'Lifeguard Hunter' in the form of size 16 knickers from BHS.
All in all both nights were a huge success and the club thanks everyone for their participation. Looking forward to the next event.

Congratulations to Lyndsey Cookson and Mick Hayes who have recently got engaged. Mick was a true romantic whisking Lyndsey away for a Helicopter ride over Lancashire. He popped the question during the flight. Lyndsey said "I was so surprised but what made it even more surreal was the pilot listening in over the headphones..."
